Fall is creeping up on us in Red River as we enter September, when the ski area begins the transition to ski season. This year, Red River Ski Area will officially open the day before Thanksgiving. If you haven't done so already, mark it in your calendar (Wednesday, November 23, 2016) and send off an email to your boss requesting the time off. Do not delay! Now is the time to plan your trip to be here for opening week.
Red River Ski Area will debut their new Emerald Quad Chairlift this season. The new lift will provide faster, more efficient access to the slopes of Summit Camp, carrying skiers and riders up the mountain at twice the speed of the former lift. Be one of the first to ride and experience the lack of lift lines at the Summit Camp.
Along with discounted lift tickets at RRSA
, you'll find some great Thanksgiving lodging and rental deals if you act fast. We invite you to stay at the Sitzmark Lodge for the holiday.
